Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the website remember your preferences and improve your experience.

2. Cookies We Use

Mino uses only essential/functional cookies. These are strictly necessary for the website to function and include: your theme preference (dark/light), your language preference, your linked server profiles, and your cookie consent status. We do NOT use any analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.

3. localStorage Usage

Instead of traditional cookies, Mino primarily uses the browser's localStorage API to persist preferences. This data never leaves your browser and is not transmitted to any server. Stored items include: mino.theme (your color scheme preference), mino.locale (your language preference), mino.linkedServers.v1 (your server connection profiles), mino.cookieConsent (your consent status).

4. Third-Party Cookies

Mino does not embed any third-party scripts, analytics, or advertising that would set cookies. Google Fonts are loaded from Google's CDN, which may set its own cookies per Google's privacy policy.

5. Managing Cookies

You can clear all Mino data at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage for this domain. You can also use your browser's developer tools to inspect and remove individual items.

6. DSGVO/GDPR Compliance

This cookie policy is compliant with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO/GDPR). Since we only use essential cookies required for the basic functionality of the site, explicit consent is not legally required. However, we display a cookie banner as a transparency measure.
